AC Milan are the latest high-profile side to have joined the chase for Sevilla playmaker Ever Banega, Il Corriere dello Sport has suggested.
The Rossoneri are on the lookout for a central midfielder, with Axel Witsel and Roberto Soriano reportedly high on their hit-list.
However, AC Milan officials also appear to be looking at Sevilla star Ever Banega, who was recently linked with a January move to Juventus.
With his contract due to expire at the end of the season, los Rojiblancos will have no option but to sell in January if the Argentine opts against extending his deal at Ramon Sanchez Pizjuan.
AC Milan have already secured the signature of Kevin-Prince Boateng and if they also happen to win the chase for Banega, the Rossoneri will stand a decent chance of reviving their top 3 bid.
The San Siro outfit currently sit seven points behind Champions League positions and they are 16/1 shot to achieve a top 3 finish.
