Il Corriere dello Sport has suggested that AC Milan are hot on the trail of Real Madrid striker Alvaro Morata.
The Rossoneri plan to recruit a high-profile centre forward in the summer transfer window and the Spaniard has emerged as one of their top targets.
AC Milan face stiff competition for the player’s signature from Chelsea, who are keen on replacing Diego Costa with Morata.
Despite showing a great deal of potential since returning to Santiago Bernabeu, the 24-year-old continues to play second fiddle to Karim Benzema and it is believed he would consider a summer exit.
Morata had enjoyed two successful seasons with Juventus in Serie A, scoring 15 goals in 63 league appearances, but it remains to be seen whether he would be interested in joining AC Milan.
The Spain international has been in fine form this season, bagging 12 goals in mere 11 La Liga starts.
