Manchester United-bound defender Victor Lindelof is a transfer target for Serie A giants AC Milan, according to reports from the Italian press.
The Italian fallen giants are ready to splash a great deal of money during the summer transfer window as new owners from China are reportedly ready to invest as much as £150 million to rebuild the club and restore the former glory.
Reports in Italy are claiming that a Manchester United target, Victor Lindelof, has been identified as one of the primary targets for summer, as Rossoneri look to hijack Red Devils’ deal for the talented Benfica defender.
Manchester United were negotiating a deal for the Swedish centre-back during the winter, but were unable to strike a deal with the Portuguese giants.
Contrary to the reports that Red Devils have agreed on a pre-contract with the player, Benfica have insisted that young defender has not agreed to join the Premier League side which leaves doors open for a potential summer move to Serie A.
