Il Corriere dello Sport understands that AC Milan are hot on the trail of Milan Badelj and Alejandro Gomez.
Even though the proposed club takeover is taking longer than predicted, the Rossoneri could be given money to spend in January, and it appears that head coach Vincenzo Montella has identified his primary targets.
It is no secret that Fiorentina midfielder Milan Badelj is very close to arriving at San Siro, with the Croatian highly unlikely to extend his stay at Artemio Franchi.
Considering that his current deal is due to expire in June 2018, AC Milan hope they will be able to agree a knock-down price for the 27-year-old.
At the same time, the Rossoneri have shown a keen interest in Atalanta star Alejandro Gomez, who has impressed playing for Orobici this season.
The former Catania hotshot is likely to be tempted by a big club move, but the question is whether Atalanta will entertain offers for his services.
