AC Milan keen on Lucas Torreira

Tuttosport is reporting that AC Milan are keeping close tabs on Sampdoria starlet Lucas Torreira.

The Rossoneri plan to add another central midfielder to their ranks after summer recruit Lucas Biglia picked up an injury that will sideline him for a month.

And while they are still thinking about Renato Sanches and Milan Badelj, Lucas Torreira has emerged as their latest target.

The 21-year-old largely impressed in his debut season at Marassi, making no fewer than 35 appearances for Sampdoria.

Torreira’s impressive performances did not go unnoticed as clubs like AS Roma and Sevilla began to cast admiring glances his way, but AC Milan could now emerge as frontrunners for his signature, according to reports.
