Italian giants AC Milan are reportedly weighing up January bid for Juventus defender Martin Caceres, Sport Mediaset has learned.
The Rossoneri have experienced plenty of problems at the back this term and they plan to offload both Cristian Zapata and Philippe Mexes in the near future.
As a result, they are on the lookout for defensive reinforcements and appear ready to make a move on Martin Caceres.
The versatile defender can cover any position in a four-man or three-man back line, which makes him even more appealing to the Rossoneri.
And with the Uruguayan making just two Serie A appearances for Juventus this season, AC Milan officials hope he would be interested in leaving Turin in the January transfer window.
Martin Caceres has spent last four years with the Bianconeri, having joined from Sevilla, making a total of 58 league appearances and lifting the league trophy in each of those seasons.
