AC Milan line up Donnarumma replacement

Portuguese daily newspaper A Bola claims that AC Milan are readying summer bid for Sporting CP goalkeeper Rui Patricio.

It is now clear that Gianluigi Donnarumma has no future at San Siro after rejecting a lucrative contract offer, and the Rossoneri will probably drop the youngster from the squad altogether in light of the recent events.

As a result, they are looking for a new shot-stopper and Portuguese media claim Rui Patricio has emerged as their top target.

The 29-year-old has been on the radar of top European clubs for quite some time and he was recently linked with a summer move to Marseille.

Despite recently signing a deal until June 2022 at Estadio Jose Alvalade, Patricio may be prepared to consider a summer exit, and a serious offer from AC Milan could do the trick.
