Spanish international midfielder Cesc Fabregas could be on his way of Chelsea at the end of the current campaign.
Blues midfielder was close to leaving the club this January, but went on to reject opportunities to change clubs in order to stay at the club to fight for his place in the team. And despite highlighting his value to Chelsea with a goal and an assist last weekend, the 29-year-old is once again linked with a move away from Stamford Bridge.
Serie A fallen giants AC Milan are thought to be keen on the Spanish international and with Chinese owners’ readiness to spend money in bringing new players this summer, Rossoneri are reportedly prepared to offer as much as £27 million, according to the Telegraph.
In the meantime, Fabregas’ former manager and a man who brought him to Chelsea in the first place, Jose Mourinho, is also monitoring the situation, ready to pounce at the slightest opportunity to bring his man to Old Trafford.
Red Devils refused to do business with Blues last summer, rejecting Manchester United’s approach for Nemanja Matic, but with Antonio Conte reportedly eyeing a new addition to the midfield area, Cesc Fabregas could be allowed to leave when the window reopens and Mourinho is happy to take his chance.
