AC Milan and Monaco are locked in the battle for Benfica winger Eduardo Salvio, A Bola can reveal.
The Argentine footballer has long been on the radar of top European clubs, but a serious injury suffered last season seriously halted his progress.
Nevertheless, Salvio appears to be back on the radar of Europe’s leading sides, and there is a good chance he will be leaving this summer.
Namely, reports from Portugal suggest that both AC Milan and Monaco are ready to step up their interest, while several Premier League clubs are believed to be in the mix as well.
While enjoying spells with Fluminense, Club Atletico Lanus and Atletico Madrid, Salvio made a name for himself at Benfica, where he scored a total of 38 goals and produced 33 assists in 161 competitive appearances.
The 26-year-old finally looks set to realise a big club move, but it remains to be seen what his next destination will be.
