AC Milan monitor free-agent market

AC Milan are keeping close tabs on three midfielders who will be out of contract at the end of the current campaign, reports Il Corriere dello Sport.

The Rossoneri are going through financial difficulty at the moment and having signed Jeremy Menez and Alex on a free transfer in the summer, they hope to take advantage of the free agent market one more time.

Milan remain keen on Real Madrid star Sami Khedira, but with Arsenal and Chelsea also in the race, they could easily miss out on the Germany international.

Should that happen, the Rossoneri will turn their attention to Serie A stars Juraj Kucka and Luca Cigarini, who also have less than a year left on their respective contracts.

Kucka, 27, has spent last four years at Genoa, but he continues to be linked with a move away from the club.

Meanwhile, Luca Cigarini, 28, has kick-started his career at Atalanta, having managed 5 goals and 14 assists since joining from Napoli.
