AC Milan & Napoli go after Godfrey

According to a recent report from Calciomercato, AC Milan and Napoli are both in talks to try and sign Norwich City defender Ben Godfrey.

At the age of just 22, Godfrey was able to stand out as one of the most impressive members of the Canaries’ first team squad last season. While he may have been unable to help them avoid relegation back down to the Championship, he still did enough to put himself in the shop window in a big way.

Norwich fans will be well aware of the fact that they’re not going to be able to keep hold of him heading into the new campaign, and now, it comes down to how much they believe they can get for him.

Milan and Napoli are two clubs that are believed to be on the rise in Italy, and with so many young English players thriving overseas in the last few years, this could be a great opportunity for Godfrey.
