AC Milan prepare Torreira loan bid

According to a recent report from Sky Italy, AC Milan are gearing up for a bid to sign Arsenal midfielder Lucas Torreira on loan. The deal is believed to be worth in the region of £4.5 million, and will serve as a two season long loan deal. The idea would be for Milan to eventually make it permanent, for a figure of around £25 million.

This would almost certainly be a huge blow for Arsenal Football Club, as many fans have considered him to be a future talisman at the club. Torreira had a strong start to his tenure at the Emirates before slowing down towards the end of last season, but even with that being the case, there was a great deal of optimism as we look ahead to the 2019/20 campaign.

Now, though, it appears as if there’s more uncertainty than there has been in quite some time over his future.
