Italian Serie A outfit AC Milan could soon offer starlet Gianluigi Donnarumma a new and improved deal, according to La Gazzetta dello Sport.
The 17-year-old has performed admirably since he was given a chance to impress despite his fragile age and he has been in excellent form at the beginning of the new season.
However, seeing that Donnarumma’s current contract at San Siro is due to expire in June 2018, AC Milan officials are aware they need to quickly tie down their star player to a new deal.
Chances are that the youngster will be offered a five-year contract with a significant pay rise, with his agent Mino Raiola likely to secure very good terms for his client.
Gianluigi Donnarumma has already made 34 Serie A appearances for the Rossoneri, keeping 12 clean sheets in the process, and he is widely tipped to succeed Gianluigi Buffon in the Italy national team.
