AC Milan came back from a goal down to beat Newcastle at St. James’ Park on Wednesday in the final round of the Champions League group stage. They may have only managed to earn third place in the group also containing Borussia Dortmund and Paris Saint-Germain, thus dropping down to the Europa League, but head coach Stefano Pioli and his players believe UEFA’s elite competition is where they belong.
