According to a recent report from Foot Mercato, AC Milan are making a final push to try and sign Manchester United defender Eric Bailly.
The proposed move would be on a loan basis with Bailly, after months of speculation, finally opting to look elsewhere after failing to consistently break into the Manchester United first team.
The Red Devils aren’t exactly flourishing at the moment but they do seem to have found some kind of defensive stability at centre-back. While they aren’t ruling out Bailly coming back into the starting XI altogether, this loan could offer him a good opportunity for him to prove himself overseas. Milan, of course, will want all the help they can get in their pursuit of the Serie A title.
The 27-year-old Ivory Coast international still has a few other clubs after him but Milan are determined to get some kind of deal over the finish line.
