Sky Italia is reporting that AC Milan have joined the race to sign Chelsea striker Alvaro Morata.
The Rossoneri are on the lookout for a high-profile centre forward having seen summer recruits Nikola Kalinic and Andre Silva fail to impress.
According to Sky Italia, AC Milan have made Alvaro Morata one of their primary targets and they have already made the first move.
The same source claims that club chiefs Massimiliano Mirabelli and Marco Fassone met with the striker’s agent Beppe Bozzo earlier today as the Rossoneri are set to submit an official proposal for the Spaniard.
AC Milan hope to sign Morata on loan with an obligation to buy, but it has to be noted that former club Juventus are also interested in a similar arrangement.
