AC Milan readying bid for Bruno Viana

Portuguese daily newspaper O Jogo has suggested that AC Milan are hot on the trail of Sporting Braga stopper Hugo Viana.

The Rossoneri are in the market for defensive reinforcements and the Brazilian centre-back is high on their wish list.

Bruno Viana has largely impressed since joining Braga on loan from Olympiakos, and his contract was recently purchased for €3 million.

But, the 23-year-old has done so well in 26 league outings this season that top European clubs are now casting admiring glances his way.

Villarreal and AC Milan have already expressed their interest, meaning that a big club move could be on the cards.
