AC Milan set for Bailly bid?

According to ESPN, AC Milan are gearing up to put a bid in for Manchester United defender Eric Bailly. Jose Mourinho has indicated that he wants to strengthen his options at the back but you have to question whether or not shipping out more players is the way to do it, even though Bailly hasn’t featured since October 19^th for the Red Devils.

AC Milan appear to be trying to follow in the footsteps of their bitter rivals Inter by slowly building themselves back up to becoming Champions League contenders, but it’s going to take much longer than any of their fans would’ve initially hoped.

With Aaron Ramsey also being on their wish list it would appear as if they’re investing heavily in the idea of bringing players over from the Premier League, and all things considered, that seems like a relatively smart business strategy. Time will tell one way or the other.
