AC Milan set for shopping spree

Fallen giants of Italian football AC Milan are planning a real shopping spree in the coming weeks, according to A Bola.

After a Chinese consortium failed to complete the club takeover, another investment company from China has swooped in and they hope to become new owners in the next week or so.

If that happens, AC Milan sporting department will be allocated considerable transfer funds, and A Bola claims they have already identified top targets.

The same source has suggested that the likes of Eduardo Salvio, William Carvalho, Joao Moutinho, Adrien Silva, Diego Costa, Isco and James Rodriguez are the players on their hit-list.

The Rossoneri obviously cannot make their move until the new owners arrive, so no doubt these will be nervy few weeks for the AC Milan officials.

Following the seventh-place finish last term, the Stadio San Siro outfit will hope for a much more successful season this time out.
