Italian powerhouse AC Milan are said to be keen on out-of-favour Manchester United midfielder Ander Herrera.
The Spanish international has managed only eight Premier League starts this season and is growing increasingly frustrated with limited playing time with Red Devils.
The 28-year-old has now emerged as a summer transfer targets for the Italian giants who look to continue their splurge after spending more than £210 on new players since last summer.
With results not going their way, the AC Milan top office is said to be contemplating adding some more firepower to Gennaro Gattuso’s squad.
Tuttosport claims Herrera is now on the agenda but add that Manchester United would be reluctant to let their midfielder leave the club. AC Milan, however, will try to test their resolve with a bid said to be worth around £30 million.
AC Milan get back to European action this week in the Europa League when they travel to Ludogorets for the first leg of their Round of 32 tie.
They are given 21/20 betting odds to secure a win in Bulgaria.
