Bosnian international striker Edin Dzeko is once again being linked with a move away from AS Roma.
The experienced 31-year-old forward has enjoyed a successful spell with Giallorossi since his 2014/15 move from Manchester City. Dzeko scored 29 Serie A goals in 37 league appearances last season whereas he managed to extend his goalscoring run this term as well, with 11 goals in 25 competitive outings.
Despite having confessed his love towards the Rome-based club, Edin Dzeko was close to leaving AS Roma this last summer. Premier League reigning champions Chelsea were in the running for the Bosnia international who is now made one of the top summer transfer targets for AC Milan.
According to Tuttosport, Rossoneri are in the running for a striker who can produce a consistent goalscoring record of 15 to 20 goals per season and complement the existing attacking line consisting of Patrick Cutrone, Nikola Kalinic and Andre Silva.
Edin Dzeko would be available for €25 million whereas AC Milan would have no problems matching his €4.5 million salary.
