Serie A fallen giants AC Milan are ready to begin their rise back to the top of Italian football as new owners bring fresh hope of new investment that is expected to see Rossoneri go through a major squad overhaul this summer.
Milan have big plans for the upcoming transfer window and plenty of names have already been linked with the Italian heavyweights.
The Corriere dello Sport have come forward with the latest addition to the list with their report of a reported €25 million bid for Atalanta star Alejandro Gomez.
Gomez has been in flying form for the Bergamo-based club this season, having already scored 14 goals and recorded 10 assists in the Serie A.
AC Milan keep the 29-year-old in high regard and are prepared to step up their chase for the Atalanta star.
In addition to Gomez, AC Milan have been linked with moves for Keita Balde, Stefan de Vrij, Simon Kjaer.
