AC Milan have started their Serie A campaign on Sunday afternoon and a 1-0 loss at the hands of Udinese did not make for a good impression. It will probably further make up the minds of everyone at Milan that Angel Correa is needed in this team. Milan director Zvonimir Boban is expected to travel to Spain on Monday to open talks with Atletico Madrid over a potential deal.
Rosonerri have been linked with Correa for quite some time now and the loss at the Friuli could give more reasons to Boban to sign the Argentine player. According to the media in Italy, they have decided to make a move for Correa and now negotiations with Atleti are looming. Marca are also reporting that Atletico Madrid want €50m for the player. On the other hand, Milan are reportedly ready to go as high as €42m, which would be just short of the asking price.
However, there are reports suggesting that Milan could add a 30 percent sell-on fee which Atletico if Milan sell Correa at some point in the future.
