AC Milan still interested in van de Beek

According to a recent report from Calciomercato, AC Milan have resumed their interest in Donny van de Beek. The 22 year old has been able to shine this season as one of the featured members of Ajax’s incredible campaign, in which they’ve been able to reach the semi finals of the UEFA Champions League. The Dutch international, who made his pro debut for Ajax back in 2015, was close to signing with AC Milan two years ago before the deal fell apart. Ajax value the forward at around £50 million, although Milan could be set to face some stiff competition for his signature.

All eyes have been on the other big names for Ajax in their European run this season, when in reality, van de Beek has been just as influential – which is pretty encouraging when you consider the fact that he’s still so young.

The future, as you can imagine, looks very bright.
