AC Milan still sacking Giampaolo?

According to Sky Italy, AC Milan are still planning on sacking manager Marco Giampaolo despite the fact that he was able to guide the club to a 2-1 win against Genoa this weekend. The main contenders in the race to take over include Gennaro Gattuso, Claudio Ranieri, Stefano Pioli, Rudi Garcia and Luciano Spalletti. Despite that being the case, though, you’d have to think that they will give it a second thought if Milan can build off of this win and continue to thrive in Serie A.

Of course, thriving hasn’t exactly been something they have specialised in during the early portion of the campaign, leading many to believe that Giampaolo is simply going through the motions before they come to terms on an agreement for a suitable replacement.

Milan were once considered to be the most fearsome team in all of world football, and getting back to that point is the primary goal.
