The transfer window in England ended last Thursday, but the situation is still very interesting. And it could get more interesting if Calciomercato are correct, as they are reporting AC Milan have identified Tottenham Hotspur full-back Serge Aurier as a possible replacement for Andrea Conti.
The Italian right-back is set to leave San Siro and join Bundesliga outfit Werder Bremen and because of that, AC Milan are in need of a new player in that position. Calciomercato report that player is Aurier, as he did not play much for Spurs last season. His eight appearances in Premier League last term are not enough for him and Milan want to exploit that, as Conti is set to move on loan to Germany.
But there could be problems in getting Aurier. Tottenham have no reason to let the player leave on loan and if they want to sell him, that price will definitely be very high. One of the reasons for that is that Spurs would not be able to find him a replacement before January 2020 and the other one is that they have already sold Kieran Trippier to Atletico Madrid without replacing him.
