La Gazzetta dello Sport is reporting that AC Milan are weighing up summer bid for Napoli shot-stopper Pepe Reina.
The Rossoneri could still lose Gianluigi Donnarumma at the end of the season, and if that happens, they will make their move on the Spaniard.
Reina will be out of contract in the summer and considering that his relationship with Napoli chairman Aurelio De Laurentiis is not that good, a summer exit appears on the cards.
AC Milan officials believe the Spaniard is a good option to fill Donnarumma’s shoes, that is until they recruit a younger goalkeeper who would remain in goal for years to come.
Reina has proved a very good signing for Napoli, having made a total of 98 Serie A appearances since joining in a €2 million deal from Bayern Munich.
