Paris Saint-Germain wantaway midfielder Adrien Rabiot will be available on a free transfer next summer and is already attracting interest from some of Europe’s biggest sides.
The French international has already been linked with a move to Barcelona but the latest reports have it that Liverpool were the closest to securing a deal with the highly-rated player.
The Champions League finalists are said to have already made contact with the player over a possible summer move but the latest information coming from Italy has it that AC Milan are prepared to step up their own interest in the player.
Corriere Dello Sport claims that Rossoneri director Leonardo believes his personal connection to PSG and the fact two worked together in Paris would be enough to lure Rabiot to Italy.
AC Milan are expected to submit a January bid and beat Liverpool to Rabiot’s signature.
