AC Milan to make £20m bid for Berbatov

Italian giants AC Milan are planning a £20million bid for Manchester United striker Dimitar Berbatov.

The Bulgarian striker has been linked with a move away from Old Trafford after failing to make an impact since joining United in a £30.75million deal from Tottenham.

An AC Milan insider told The Sun: “No contact has been made yet but we admire Berbatov.

“He is a strong player who would do very well in Italy. Whether something can be arranged remains to be seen. It has been difficult for Berbatov in Manchester but he is a good player who has a lot to offer.”
