According to a recent report from Calciomercato, AC Milan could be forced into a situation whereby they sell their biggest names during the summer transfer window. The Italian giants’ potential qualification for the UEFA Champions League next season is currently up in the air, and if they do not succeed in their task, then they will probably be pushed into a predicament in which they could lose out in a big way. Alessio Romagnoli is arguably the biggest name who could wind up leaving the club, with a series of top European clubs believed to be interested in acquiring his services. He is currently valued at around £60 million – £70 million, but given the current state of the market, it wouldn’t be surprising at all to see a team pay that kind of money for him.
Either way, it’s going to be an intriguing and tense few months for Milan as they gear up for the end of their domestic season.
