According to a recent report from Tuttosport, AC Milan could use Andre Silva, who is currently on loan with Spanish club Sevilla, as a ‘makeweight’ in their attempts to sign Marseille star Florian Thauvin. The Frenchman has had a really strong season in Ligue 1 thus far, and while Silva has also done well in La Liga with Sevilla, it doesn’t seem like Milan can picture a scenario in which he starts regularly for their first team. The 23 year old has been with Milan since making the switch over from Portuguese side Porto in 2017, but in that time he’s actually played more in Spain than he has done in Italy.
However, even if Milan want to play this kind of game, they may not be able to. That’s because a series of other top clubs are said to be interested in signing Silva, and if they offer big enough fees, then Andre could be tempted elsewhere.
Wolverhampton Wanderers are said to be one of the primary clubs in the race for his signature, whereas Valencia, Monaco and Barcelona are also interested.
