According to Tutto Mercato, Italian club AC Milan are interested in signing Manchester United forward Anthony Martial. The 22-year-old has experienced a turbulent few months, to say the least, with growing speculation over where the Frenchman will end up at the start of the new season.
While United could certainly use him as an attacking option, it still seems as if Jose Mourinho has no plans to use Martial this season. As such many high-profile European sides are said to be interested in signing him, with AC Milan being one of them.
They aren’t the only ones, however, with Borussia Dortmund, Atletico Madrid and Juventus also showcasing their interest. Juve, in particular, seemed like a move that could make a lot of sense for Martial, but at this stage, it’s anyone’s guess regarding where he’ll actually end up.
Manchester United will kick off their Premier League season against Leicester City tonight, with Martial not being expected to feature.
