According to Sky Italia, AC Milan have made an approach for Fulham midfielder Stefan Johansen. The 27 year old hasn’t quite been able to lock down a consistent place in the first team with the Cottagers this season, despite playing a significant role in actually getting them promoted.
The Norwegian has been overlooked for far too long with Fulham, and now it appears as if he’s more than willing to look elsewhere.
Milan are sniffing around the English market with Gabbiadini also being someone that they’re interested in, as they attempt to improve their chances of getting back into the Champions League.
Johansen seems to be chomping at the bit to be given another opportunity to showcase what he can do, and if he makes the jump over to the San Siro, he’d almost certainly be given more freedom.
Fulham are currently lingering down towards the bottom of the English Premier League.
