AC Milan want Lovren

According to recent reports over in Italy, AC Milan are interested in the possibility of signing Liverpool defender Dejan Lovren. The 29 year old, who is set to turn 30 next month, made a mere 18 appearances in all competitions last season due to a combination of injury issues and the form of his fellow defenders. Milan are set to go on a rebuilding run during the summer transfer window, which will begin now that Gennaro Gattuso is out of the picture. Lovren, who is known for being an incredibly confident player, is said to be one of their main targets over the course of the next few months. Marco Giampaolo is set to be appointed as their new manager sooner rather than later, which will begin the process of going after Lovren.

Given Liverpool’s strength in depth within that position, it doesn’t feel like they’re going to put up much of a fight when it comes to letting him go.
