According to Sky Italia, AC Milan are interested in signing Krzysztof Piatek from Genoa. The Polish forward has been with the Italian club since last year, when he made the move over from Cracovia. Piatek is believed to have a £35 million price tag on his head, but it doesn’t appear as if that’s going to be enough to throw Milan off the scent. They’re believed to be looking into Piatek as a potential replacement for Gonzalo Higuain, who is said to be edging closer and closer towards a move to Premier League side Chelsea.
Real Madrid are also said to be interested in signing the 23 year old, but Milan’s sporting director Leonardo has reportedly already made contact with Genoa’s chairman over the deal.
Piatek made his debut for the Polish national team last year, and is considered to be one of the main natural successors to legendary forward Robert Lewandowski.
