According to a recent report from Gazzetta dello Sport, AC Milan will try and sell Franck Kessie during the January transfer window after the midfielder was left out of the squad to take on Italian champions Juventus. They want at least £30 million from the potential transfer in order to try and make a few signings of their own, with Wolverhampton Wanderers and Monaco both being very interested in making a deal happen.
Wolves were said to be on the verge of getting a deal over the finish line during the summer transfer window earlier this year, but in the end, they just couldn’t come to terms on the specifics of the deal.
Milan and Wolves have done business before and if they see value in letting Kessie head to the Midlands, whether it be on loan or on a permanent deal, we can’t imagine they’ll stand in his way in January.
