AC Milan vice-president Adriano Galliani insists they will not make any attempt to sign Fabio Cannavaro or Philippe Mexes in the January transfer window.
The pair have been linked with a the Rossoneri, due to the Serie A giants’ recent injury problems at the back.
“It’s absolutely untrue that Cannavaro is coming in January,” affirmed the general manager to Radio Radio.
“Whereas for Mexes, with Roma we have a very strong rapport and we will never buy a player with various clauses.
“We have already bough a great central defender and that’s Thiago Silva, who will play with us from July.
“Let’s see if we manage to find a player who can play as a left full-back as well as a central defender, otherwise we remain as we are.”
