Italian TV station Mediaset has learned that Cagliari goalkeeper Michael Agazzi has agreed a pre-contract deal with AC Milan.
The 29-year-old will be out of contract in the summer and he has reportedly reached an agreement to join the Rossoneri on a free transfer at the end of the season.
AC Milan were on the lookout for a long-term successor to Christian Abbiati and they have decided to go with Agazzi.
The talented shot-stopper spent his early years at South Tyrol and Triestina, but his career really kicked off as he completed a switch to Cagliari in 2010.
Agazzi went on to make 122 Serie A appearances for Isolani before joining Chievo on a short-term loan in the January transfer window.
He now looks set to complete a big club move, but the former Italy international will clearly have to work hard if he wants to nail down a regular starting berth at San Siro.
