AC Milan’s Aurier bid rejected

According to a recent report from Sky Sports, Tottenham Hotspur have rejected a bid from AC Milan for defender Serge Aurier.

It’s no secret that Spurs are interested in getting rid of the right back this summer, especially now that it looks like they’ll be signing Wolverhampton Wanderers star Matt Doherty in the next few days.

Alas, when it comes to Aurier, Milan and Tottenham are still a fair distance off of one another in terms of their respective valuations.

Talks are set to continue and it doesn’t appear as if either club is going to give up anytime soon, but with so little time remaining before the new domestic season begins, Milan will need to act fast.

Aurier has received a lot of criticism for some of his performances last season, but perhaps a fresh change of pace over in Serie A is exactly what he needs to turn a corner.
