The Mirror understands that Manchester United and Arsenal have joined the list of clubs interested in securing the services of Birmingham City forward Che Adams.
The twenty-two-year old has been in superb form so far this season, scoring nineteen goals in thirty-two Championship appearances while he recently netted in six consecutive games.
That form has not gone unnoticed, with both the Red Devils and the Gunners registering an interest while fellow top-flight outfit Burnley failed in several approaches for the former Sheffield United man last month – that last rejected bid being in the region of £9m.
Southampton, Watford and Scottish champions Celtic also have an eye on Adams, who began his career in non-league football, first with Oatby Town and then Ilkeston.
Internationally, he has been capped twice for England’s U20s, with both appearances coming while he was at Bramall Lane.
Adams, who is four goals behind Norwich City’s Teemu Pukki in the race to be the Championship’s top scorer, can be backed at 12/1 to win the Golden Boot.
