Emmanuel Adebayor is surely leaving Arsenal. The 24 year old, Togolese striker is now reportedly holding his present club to ransom, demanding that they quadruple his wages for him to stay.
Currently on a £30,000-a-week deal, that would mean he is now asking for a new £120,000-a-week contract at the Emirates, reports The Sun.
The striker is ready snub a move to Barcelona or AC Milan if Arsenal make him their highest paid player but Arsenal is reputed to be one of the few big clubs known for not buckling to exorbitant wage demands, much unlike Chelsea or Real Madrid.
Barca and Milan are willing to match the player’s salary demands if he requests a transfer. Adebayor, who scored 30 goals in all competitions last season, has been one of the big transfer stories outside of the Ronaldo saga at Manchester and the recently developing Arshavin story.
