Togolese striker Emmanuel Adebayor has suggested that he is prepared to leave Tottenham Hotspur in search of first team football in the near future.
The 29-year-old has only once been included in the match squad this season, having fallen behind Roberto Soldado and Jermain Defoe in the pecking order.
And with Spurs looking to add another forward in January, it is perfectly clear Adebayor has no long-term future at White Hart Lane.
The forward seems ready to quit Tottenham in the winter and he has hinted that he would like to remain in England.
“If I do not play until December, I would have to consider my options, but I have a lot of contacts” Adebayor confessed to beIN Sport.
“England? I feel comfortable here. I love people, I love the fans, the whole country, I love the atmosphere in the stadiums.”
Emmanuel Adebayor has made a total of 58 Premier League appearances for Spurs since arriving from Manchester City, scoring 22 goals in the process.
The interesting thing is that Tottenham take on his former club Manchester City on Sunday afternoon, with Spurs 9/2 to produce an upset and win at Etihad.
