Adebayor: I want to stay at Real

Emmanuel Adebayor has revealed that he is keen on staying at Real Madrid even after his loan deal ends at the end of the season.

The Manchester City striker has adapted well to life at Santiago Bernabeu, even if he is yet to command a starting place.

The Togolese player is now adamant to sign a permanent deal with los Blancos.

“I shall do everything I can to stay on with Real Madrid,” Adebayor told The Mirror.

“No one can be as happy as I am now. Playing here is a dream come true, and I now feel useful again.

“Give me a contract stating that we shall win the Champions League final 2-0 with both goals by Karim Benzema and I’ll sign it straight away!”
