Adebayor non-committal on Tottenham stay

Togolese striker Emmanuel Adebayor says that he cannot guarantee his stay at White Hart Lane after his loan deal expires.

The 27-year-old managed to kick-start his career in North London and Spurs are keen on keeping him at the club.

However, despite enjoying his time at White Hart Lane, Adebayor doesn’t know whether he will remain at Tottenham.

“It’s too early. I’m not a liar, so I’m not going to start saying: ‘I want to stay here for life,'” Adebayor told London Evening Standard.

“Tottenham brought me here to help them finish in the top four and that’s what I’ll try to do. At the end of the season, let’s judge it and see what happens.”
