Emmanuel Adebayor had two options this summer, either stay at Arsenal or move to AC Milan. Now it looks like the latter option has been closed for the Togolese striker.
Arsenal were reluctant in selling the player to the Italian giants and set the asking price for the player a little too high for Milan’s liking. As a result, Carlo Ancelotti has decided to sign Brazilian playmaker Ronaldinho instead.
Following the completion of Ronaldinho’s move to Italy, AC Milan president Adriano Galliani has made a statement on the club’s official site saying that they will make no more additions to their squad this summer.
“Milan’s transfer campaign is finished with Ronaldinho,†Said Galliani according to Setanta Sports.
“But there will be no more new arrivals, absolutely.â€Â
Apart from Ronaldinho, AC Milan have already added Arsenal’s Mathieu Flamini, Barcelona’s Gianluca Zambrotta and Marco Boriello – among others – to their squad.
