A place in the semi-final will be up for grabs when the two sides meet at the Adelaide Oval on Friday 1st May, but recent results in the meetings between the two teams are enough to suggest home field advantage will play no part.
Despite winning four of last seven fixtures, Adelaide United haven’t got plenty of reason for optimism, seeing as they have failed to defeat the next opponents at home since February 2010, while losing 3-2 just three weeks ago.
Meanwhile, reigning champions Brisbane Roar aim to take full advantage of Perth Glory’s disqualification and they head into the match in very good spirits, so bear in mind Roar is available at 3/1 to pile more misery on Adelaide.
