Adrian exploring options ahead of World Cup

Sky Sports understands that West Ham United goalkeeper Adrian would be willing to move on as he looks to secure a place in Spain’s squad for next summer’s World Cup finals.

The thirty year old has been sidelined by Slaven Bilic this season, with the Hammers’ boss opting to play summer arrival Joe Hart in the Premier League.

Adrian’s only two appearances this campaign have come in the League Cup victories over Cheltenham Town and Bolton Wanderers and he knows he needs more game time if he is to be on the plane to Russia.

He is yet to make his debut for Spain having been called up for the first time just over twelve months ago and currently has Manchester United’s David De Gea, Sergio Rico of Sevilla and Napoli’s Pepe Reina ahead of him in the pecking order.

Spain won their group in qualifying for the World Cup and are currently priced at 7/1 to reclaim the trophy from Germany.
