Brazilian striker Adriano may be signed for free by Tottenham as a clause in his contract with Flamengo allows him to leave for nothing in January if a European club comes in for him.
The 27 year old striker, in the middle of his contract with the Brazilian club, is determined to save his career and keen about his return to Europe.
Tottenham offer Jermaine Jenas to Inter Milan for Adriano, a player who has won four Serie A titles and wouldn`t cost a penny.
They are also interested in Real Madrid`s Dutch striker Klaas-Jan Huntelaar while Celtic is interested in Robbie Keane leaving Tottenham boss Harry Redknapp ready to shuffle.
Adriano`s representatives believe Spurs may be the right choice for him since he is just getting back into form and fitness.
