Sporting CP hotshot Adrien Silva has moved to suggest that he is tempted by the prospect of moving to English Premier League.
It is believed that a number of Premiership sides are casting admiring glances his way, with Spurs reportedly leading the chase.
According to A Bola, Tottenham recently submitted a €30 million proposal for Adrien Silva, while Sporting CP are holding out for €35 million.
Speaking to reporters after scoring the winner in the 3rd-place play-off match at the 2017 Confederations Cup, Adrien Silva hinted at a summer move to England.
“The best players are there, the English championship is recognised as one of the best,” Silva was quoted as saying.
“Let’s just let things run (its course). I have a contract with Sporting, but nothing is going on yet.”
Adrien Silva has been a loyal servant to the Lions over the years, and he managed 38 goals and 19 assists in 232 competitive appearances for the club.
