Barcelona target Ibrahim Afellay says he still doesn’t know where he will end up after deciding to leave PSV, although the Dutch midfielder admits he would love to play at the Camp Nou.
The 24-year-old denies there has been any contact between Barcelona and PSV.
“I don’t know anything. I only know what I’ve read in the newspapers on the internet, but I still don’t know what my future will be because there are many options,” Afellay said.
“At the moment I don’t think there has been contact between Barca and PSV. It is a fantastic club, a club everybody knows, with a team who plays really attractive football and who are one of the greats. But I insist that I still I don’t know anything about my future.”
He, nonetheless, admits the prospect of playing with Xavi and Iniesta is very appealing.
“For any player it would be fantastic to play with these two players. They have a very high level, they are known throughout the football world.
“They are so good. But there is nothing, as I said before, so I prefer not to think about it.”
